Praise the Lord!

I’m Ibn Johnson, the founder of Use Your Power … I wanted to write this in ‘first person’, because it’s from me! Lol! For starters, I love Jesus! … I was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost on September 24^th 1997. Since that Wednesday night, my life changed completely. I can't tell it all, but, just know I’ve come out of gross darkness, into a marvelous light! Now, my whole life is “Jesus.” Every step I take and every move I make, I consider Him – and by God’s grace I practice what I preach. The Lord has blessed me to serve in the ministry for several years now. I’ve learned from my pastor and other great men of God, to serve Jesus and His people in sincerity, honesty, and humility. I believe the Bible is the only God inspired book on the planet – And I believe Jesus is the only way…

My goal is simply to be an encouragement to people, letting them know ‘THEY CAN DO IT!’ - Even as the Bible scripture says “I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me.” We can all live according to God’s standards for us; and we all have the ability to excel in all things and thrive spiritually, physically, educationally, emotionally, athletically.

I want to let the world know that Christ is the Power we need to get to the next level! The Holy Ghost is our Power over the devil, the flesh, and the world! Life is better when you Use Your Power!
